Audioguides

Audioguides are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. Included in the ticket price. €2 supplement in case of free admission.

Loan of equipment

For your convenience, we offer free loans of baby carriers and extra cane seats. Ask our security and reception staff.

Magnetic induction loop

Our reception desks/ticket offices are equipped with magnetic induction loops for the hearing impaired.

Lost and Found

If you have lost something, please contact our receptionists onsite.

Book and gift shop

Discover a wide selection of books, toys and merchandise at the museum's book and gift shop. Accessible during museum opening hours.

Toilets and changing tables

The museum is equipped with toilets (PRM) and a changing table in the reception area. Toilets are also available along the tour itinerary.

Lifts

Only the Madeleine Tower is equipped with a lift and is accessible to wheelchair users (access to the interpretation area and the terrace).

Catering

A relaxation area with beverage dispensers is at your disposal.

Car park

Château de Brest - 29 200 Brest. GPS: Boulevard de la Marine. Tramway: Château. Bus: Line 2 - Musée de la Marine stop.

There are free and paid car parks in front of the castle. Another free car park, "Parc à Chaines", is located 5 minutes from the entrance, below the castle at the commercial port. For coaches: Drop-off possible in front of the castle and parking at the railway station or at the Parc à Chaines (5 minutes).
